I was born in Calgary, Canada in January 1985.
I never went to college. Everything I know I learned by doing — starting with a $20 snow shovel at age 12. By my early twenties I had built and exited several businesses across multiple industries. No classroom taught me that.
Not everything worked. I have wound down ventures, navigated market collapses, and navigated significant financial losses during the Global Financial Crisis. I learned more from failure than I ever did from success. Those lessons are the foundation everything I build today sits on.
In 2012 I moved to the United States, drawn by an environment that genuinely rewards building at scale. It is the best decision I have ever made.
Today I operate out of Melbourne, Florida — building and managing a private real estate portfolio while serving as Director of Business Development and Entrepreneurship at Easler Law and Co-Founder and CEO of WorkTraining.com. I also co-host the Learn Laws® podcast.
Buying real estate on the Space Coast was the second best decision of my life. It provided me with the time and capital to take risks and explore other ventures, without shareholders and the shame of failure.

Wound Down
Not every venture succeeds — that's the honest reality of entrepreneurship. Some businesses run their course, and some meet market forces beyond anyone's control. These ventures didn't end the way I'd hoped, but the lessons they taught have shaped every venture since.

Eurotex Finanz Inc. was founded in 2010. As President and CEO I assisted dozens of companies in listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and listed Eurotex itself in 2011. The company was subsequently taken private, merged with Dynamic Bear in 2012, and wound up in 2014 with assets distributed to shareholders.
